Flamingo Crossings to Hollywood Studios — Real Drive Time
The drive from Flamingo Crossings to Disney's Hollywood Studios took me exactly 14 minutes — 5:14 to 5:28 on a Sunday afternoon.
My GPS guessed 16 minutes before I pulled out, so the real drive actually came in a little faster than the estimate. But the time on the clock isn't the part that trips families up.
The part nobody tells you is the toll plaza. As you come through, everybody funnels into the two left lanes for Epcot, Magic Kingdom, and Disney Springs — and those two lanes are short, so they back up fast and look way worse than they are.
Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom go right, merging onto Osceola Parkway, and that side stays light. If you're driving to Hollywood Studios, stay right and you skip the whole mess the left-lane crowd is sitting in.
From there it's a straight shot down Osceola Parkway, about 2.2 miles, and the entrance is right there when you arrive. Parking is $35 if you're not an annual passholder — worth budgeting for, because that's per day, every day of your trip.
One honest caveat: 14 minutes was a normal Sunday. During peak season — summer once school lets out at the end of May, plus Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Halloween party nights — these drive times can double. Later in the day, when everyone's heading into Disney Springs, this direction thickens up too. So treat 14 minutes as your baseline, not your worst case.
