Google Maps says 14 minutes from Flamingo Crossings to Magic Kingdom. On a Thursday mid-morning with light traffic, that's accurate. But you're not done when you hit the toll plaza.
Magic Kingdom is the only Disney park where parking is just step one. Once you park ($35/day — annual pass holders park free), you take a tram or walk to the Ticket and Transportation Center, clear security, then ride the monorail or ferry across the Seven Seas Lagoon to the actual entrance. That's an additional 20 minutes minimum.
One tip most people miss: if there's a line at the express monorail, take the resort monorail instead. It stops at the Polynesian and Grand Floridian before Magic Kingdom but moves faster than waiting in the express line. I've used it to make tight restaurant reservations.
Also — always type "Magic Kingdom Toll Plaza" into Google Maps, not just Magic Kingdom. Otherwise it routes you to the wrong entrance.
Real total time from Flamingo Crossings hotel lobby to Magic Kingdom entrance: 35–40 minutes when you account for parking, tram, security, and monorail. Give yourself 45 on busy mornings.
