I confirmed all of this in person — I walked up to the Drury front desk last week and Grace, the desk clerk, handed me that week's printed schedule and walked me through how it actually works. Here's what she told me, and what I saw for myself.

The schedule is reprinted every single week — and that's on purpose. I asked Grace why they don't just post one permanent schedule, and her answer is the reason this hotel gets shuttles right: they rebuild it week to week so special events, park-hour changes, ride closures, and party nights are actually reflected. Most hotels hand you a static sheet that's wrong the moment Magic Kingdom closes early for a Halloween party. Drury adjusts theirs so the week you're standing there is the week the times are good for. To show you the real shape of it, here's an actual week (September 7–13, 2026). Morning buses to the parks started early — first departures around 7:10 AM to Magic Kingdom's TTC and Epcot, 7:15 AM to Hollywood Studios, and as early as 6:45 AM to Animal Kingdom. Through the day they ran roughly every hour in the afternoon, tightening up in the mornings and near park close. Buses make two stops per route — in practice Magic Kingdom and Epcot tend to share a bus, and Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios share one. On party nights they add late returns past midnight — that week had Magic Kingdom buses back to the hotel at 12:30 AM, 12:50 AM, 1:15 AM, and 1:30 AM on the Halloween party dates, plus a full run of late buses from Hollywood Studios for its after-hours event. That's the weekly reprint doing its job: on a normal night the last bus is earlier, but on a party night you're covered.

Here's how it really feels to use: dependable, but it runs on a clock, not on demand. The rules that don't change week to week are the ones to plan around — arrive at the stop about 10 minutes before departure, it's first-come-first-served, and seats are limited. Miss your afternoon bus and you're often waiting an hour for the next one. Mornings to Magic Kingdom and Epcot fill up fast, so if you're doing early entry, catch an earlier bus than you think you need. And remember the Magic Kingdom quirk that applies to every Hotel Plaza Boulevard hotel: the shuttle drops you at the Ticket and Transportation Center, not the park gate, so you'll still take the monorail or ferry across — budget an extra 15–20 minutes.

One honest note on the fees, because it's the whole reason people look at Drury: the shuttle is free and there's no resort fee here — but self-parking runs about $28 a night plus tax if you bring a car. That's the trade. For a family that doesn't want to drive, the free shuttle to all four parks genuinely saves you money and the headache of park parking. For a family set on driving their own schedule, factor the parking in. Either way, what you don't get is a surprise "resort fee" tacked on at checkout — the number you see is close to the number you pay, and after 50 trips out here, I can tell you that's rarer than it should be.
