Disney World was going to be awesome! We were so excited. Just my daughter and me. The most Magical Place on Earth. I had saved thousands for this trip. I was going to spend thousands on this trip. Memories about to be made. Forever Memories. We booked the hotel months in advance, used a third party app for a $120/night, for an off property budget friendly "Resort", about a week long trip, the pictures looked immaculate, we drove 9.5 hours to get there.
Long drive giddy we arrived late, tired, excited, the lobby looked modern, it smelled aromatic. We checked in, turned down the hallway, and my heart sank like an anchor dropped in the Never Seas surrounding Neverland,... time began to move in slow mo... my stomach began to knot up... No God. Please. No. Colossal Error happening real time. Was the Magic about to die?
We rode the cranky elevator, passed screaming in the hallway, and as soon as we walked into the room, I knew in my heart We Were Not Staying Here this Week! I was not spending all day in the Parks, and coming back to a tired and warn out hotel. I knew for $120 we could get better than this! Maybe even the Luxury we had expected. But honestly, I was willing to pay for two hotels. Either way, even if I was going to lose all my money, we were going to stay in a Nice Hotel, not this place! My daughter walked in the bathroom and said "Pops, I don't think I'm going to shower in here this week." Way ahead of you kid, scrolling online, I book another hotel, this time made a great decision, and we are gone!
The Magic was back! Wow. What a gamble hotel booking can be. Why? The Parks, the Hotel, the entire trip, turned out to be Enchanting!
(I almost messed that one up, and Big.)

Ever booked a hotel and "hoped" the Marketing Pictures match reality?
Ever read the "comments" section and thought, "I don't know what to believe?"
Ever walked into a pre-paid room and thought "Oh my, this looks nothing like the pictures"?
Besides it potentially being a nightmare. Why book the same priced hotel, that doesn't have exactly what you want? Maybe it is actually nice, but has a tiny pool area, or an inadequate exercise room, an old school tub, or no bar???
What's important to you? See my experience on my trips, over 30 budget friendly hotels, see the costs, parking fees, amenity fees, location, distance / transport to the parks, pet policy, surrounding properties, Disney theming, the pool, the exercise room, the kitchen, on property restaurants, bars, the shower, wi-fi, tv, breakfast, washer/dryers, etc.
Main point being: Watch it. See it. Real video. Not marketing pics.
I rate it all based on my needs. You rate it based on your needs.

You SEE THE HOTEL! With your own eyes. As best as I can show you. Before you book it!
I don't want to be an influencer.

I just get nervous when I book a long stay at a hotel. What about you?

Even now, after over 30 hotels, when I book another one to review... I honestly have a hard time figuring out what it really is going to be like. Will it have the exercise equipment I need? Will the breakfast be free? How much will it cost to park? What is the pool really like? The shower? The refrigerator?
I save all this money, I take my family, and I want a hotel that fits our needs.
I want to see it before I book it.
Such unnecessary risks.
I want to Enjoy Disney... AND my Hotel!
Why can't I see it first? Well at Disney World, now you can.
