How Long Does It Take to Drive From Orlando Airport to Epcot?
Flying into Orlando International Airport (MCO) and heading straight to Epcot? Here's the real drive time — logged on camera, not estimated.
Left MCO at 12:54pm. Arrived at the Epcot toll plaza at 1:17pm — 23 minutes of driving. From there, it's parking, the tram or walk in, and getting through security and the tap-in line: another 16 minutes before actually stepping inside the park at 1:33pm.
Total door-to-entrance time: 39 minutes.
That's not including rental car pickup, just drive, park, and walk-in combined into one real number — not a Google Maps estimate that ignores parking and entry.
One thing to know before you book: make sure your GPS is set to "Epcot Toll Plaza," not just "Epcot." The general search will sometimes route you to the pedestrian entrance instead of the vehicle entrance, adding time and confusion right when you're trying to get into the park.
