The pet fee at Flamingo Crossings runs $75 to $150 depending on the hotel — and two of the six don't take pets at all.
l've stayed in all six, so here's the honest breakdown before you book with your pet (or before you book hoping to avoid them).
The four that allow pets:
TownePlace Suites — $150 for your entire stay. On a longer trip, that flat fee can actually come out cheaper than the per-night Hilton pricing, so do the math on your dates.
Home2 Suites — $75 for up to 4 nights, $125 for longer stays. One of the two cheapest pet fees at Flamingo Crossings.
Homewood Suites — same as Home2: $75 up to 4 nights, $125 longer. The two sit right next to each other and share a pool, so the setup is nearly identical.
Residence Inn — $150 for the stay, and they ask you to talk to the front desk ahead of time. It's the most upscale of the four.
For all of them, the number of pets and whether cats are allowed varies by hotel, by booking listing, and honestly changes — I've been given different answers at different desks. Always call the specific hotel and confirm before you book. The fee is the part you can count on; the rest, verify.
The two that don't:
SpringHill Suites and Fairfield Inn are service-animals-only. No pets.
If you're a light sleeper, or you're traveling without a pet and would rather not share an elevator with a wet dog, these two are your pick — same great area, same free breakfast, none of the pet traffic.
What it's actually like staying near the dogs:
I love dogs, so this doesn't bother me, but here's the honest version. In the pet-friendly hotels you'll see them — big dogs on leashes out front, owners walking them in the mornings. A couple of times over dozens of stays I caught the little things: one yappy dog going off in a lobby, and once a wet-dog smell in an elevator on a rainy day, since that's when everyone's taking them out. It wasn't constant and it never ruined a trip. But if a bark down the hall would bug you, that's the real trade-off — and it's exactly why I'd point you to SpringHill or Fairfield instead.
