Yes — the Homewood Suites Flamingo Crossings has a covered parking garage, and it's the one real parking advantage in the whole Flamingo Crossings complex.
But there's a detail that decides whether it actually helps you, and it comes down to which floor your room is on.
The garage is five levels, and it's shared between Homewood Suites and the Fairfield Inn next door. Here's the part that matters: at Homewood, floors 1 through 5 connect directly onto the parking deck. You walk out of your floor straight into covered parking — no elevator down to the lot, no walk across an open lot in the rain. If your room is on floor 6 or 7, you come down to floor 5 first, but you're still covered the whole way.
The Fairfield Inn shares the same garage, but you can't walk directly out onto your floor there — you have to go down to the first floor and come out from the bottom. Same garage, different access. That's the kind of thing you'd never know from a booking page.
On a normal day it's a nice-to-have. In Florida, where it's blazing hot by 9am or a thunderstorm rolls through most afternoons, walking straight from your room to a covered, shaded car is a real advantage — especially with kids and strollers and a full day at the parks ahead.
One clarification, because it trips people up: the garage isn't free. There's no gate and no way to pay daily at a machine — but parking is a separate per-night fee you pay on-site or through the hotel's app, not something baked into your advertised nightly rate. At Homewood that's $20 a night. It's for guests of the property only.
And Home2 Suites, across the way? Home2 guests can technically use the garage, but it's on the far end of the property — too far to be practical, so most don't bother.
Home2 shares Homewood's pool, not the garage.
So if covered parking and walking straight to your car matter to you — and in Florida heat they might matter more than you think — Homewood Suites is the one Flamingo Crossings hotel built for it.
